The Stephen's Green Hotel is a lovely 4 starestablishment set in the heart of Dublin's scenic southeasternside. St Stephen's Green, the hotel's namesake, is theneighboring 27-acre park that began long ago as communallivestock grazing land. In 1663, Dublin's City Council blockedpublic access to the property and sold off some of itsexpanse. Luckily for the city and its future residents, SirArthur Guinness, a Member of Parliament and founder of theworld's thickest beer, proposed a bill that preserved theGreen as a public park in 1877. The historic neighborhoodsurrounding Saint Stephens Green offers guests a myriad ofdestinations and attractions just a short walk away.
TheStephen's Green hotel features 64 guestrooms and 11 suites,each stylishly decorated with soft, rich fabrics andcomfortable modern furnishings. Air- conditioning, direct-dialtelephones, cable television, and data hookups are standard inall rooms, and the hotel's eleven suites each feature a uniquedécor and breathtaking views of the city skyline.
